Liverworts

The abundance of liverworts in Central Texas is not that of the related mosses, but many interesing liverworts may be encountered. They generally have a higher moisture requirement than the mosses and adhere closer to the substrate. This flattened morphology makes them much more photogenic than the mosses with my current photographic equiptment. Donations of any type will be appreciated to aleviate this problem and possible a spelling book. More text will be added as the images become avialable.
