Marchantia domingensis

This liverwort (gametophyte thallus) was found on limestone rock almost in the splash zone of a small stream. It was collected 15 March 97 near Lake Belton in a canyon. The inset at the lower left of the left image is an antheridial disc at the tip of the antherdial stalk. The right image gives a larger view of the gemmae cups and pores.
