Fossombronia sp.
This leafy liverwort was collected in a shady seep area on limestone near Lake Belton Texas on 15 March 97. It was mixed with moss and sporophytes were present. One capsule is seen in the inset, the setae had not developed in this example. Setaes were present but the capsules were missing due to damage during transport.
