This moss occurs on limestone rocks at the Miller Springs Nature Center. Other species of commonly moss occur with it. Notice the accending nature of the plant. On looking directly down at a plant, a rosette-like arangement is perceived. Most often the moss plant will be dry displaying another diagnostic clue. When present the sporophytes are useful in identification.
