Orthotrichum pusillum
Orthotrichum pusillum is another common moss found on bark, especially on liveoaks. The leaves are tapered and slender. Notice that in this species the awn is not present as it does in the closely related Orthotrichum diaphanum with which it is often found in central Texas.
