Orthotrichum diaphanum
Orthotrichum diaphanum is another common moss found on bark, especially on liveoaks. The leaves are tapered and slender. Notice that in this species the leaves terminate with a hyaline point which is absent in the closely related Orthotrichum pusillum with which it is often found in central Texas.
